1. Information We Collect
When you use SAAVANI™ Career, we may collect:
- Account Data: Email address and password (hashed) when you sign up via Supabase Auth.
- Resume Data: Resume content you enter is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to our servers except for AI processing in real-time.
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated, anonymised tool usage data (e.g. which tool was used, duration) to improve the platform.
- Job Applications: Job application data entered in the Job Tracker is stored locally in your browser only.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use data to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Process AI requests (resume content is sent to third-party AI providers: Google Gemini and OpenRouter)
- Display personalised dashboard analytics
- Improve platform features based on aggregated usage patterns
3. Third-Party Services
SAAVANI™ Career integrates with:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting. Governed by their Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini / OpenRouter — AI processing. Inputs are sent for real-time inference and are not stored by default.
- Vercel — Hosting and edge functions.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Browser-stored data (resume, job applications) is controlled entirely by you and can be cleared via your browser settings.
5. Your Rights

6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure cookie handling, and Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) to protect your data.
